Delivery and returns
When the book arrives, and what happens if something is wrong.
The short version of the parts of our terms that matter after you have paid.
Delivery
Delivery is included in the price: £49 for a book posted within the United Kingdom, and the dollar price shown for a book posted within the United States. Books for United Kingdom addresses are printed in the United Kingdom and books for United States addresses in the United States. The book is printed within six working days of your order and sent by tracked post; we email you the tracking when it leaves. A book ordered on a Monday is normally in your hands within a fortnight, but postal services are not ours and we cannot promise a day. We deliver only to the United Kingdom and the United States for now.
Cancelling
The book goes to be made as soon as you have paid, and once it has gone to print it cannot be changed or cancelled. Please check the name, the date and the town, and the spelling of your own words, before you press the button. Because each book is made to your specification for one person, the right to cancel a distance purchase within fourteen days does not apply, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If we cannot make the book
Every figure in the book is checked before it is printed. If the book cannot be made for the person and date you gave, for example because a birth date is before 1 January 1940 or a figure cannot be confirmed, we do not print it and we refund the whole payment to the card you paid with, normally within five working days of telling you.
If something is wrong with the book
If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a page that does not match what you entered, write to [email protected] within thirty days with a photograph and we will print and post a replacement at our cost, or refund you if you prefer, as is your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This does not cover a mistake in the details you entered, which the book will reproduce faithfully.
The calendar, the prints and the mugs
All of this page applies in the same way to the 2027 calendar, the prints and the mugs. Delivery is included in their prices, to addresses in the United Kingdom only. A mug normally arrives within five working days of your order, and a framed print or the calendar within seven. A set of mugs is posted to one address.
Refunds
A refund goes back to the card you paid with, normally within five working days of our agreeing it. Your card company may take a few days more to show it.
